one of the issues I see is the alternatives aren't there, in the same scale, which makes people hesitant to switch, we need a good European solution to all that the big tech companies in USA and China are providing, with the clear difference that the users own their data and not used to monetize them...

When Europe got into bed with Russia for their energy, many of us warned them, but they did not listen. Now that they've learned that lesson, they're starting to apply it to USA and technology... and this is a good thing.

this issue has already been addressed in the world of banking, banks have to set up a separate subsidiary in each individual jurisdiction in which they are operating. Sounds like we need a similar model for tech Companies.

The US has no right to make extraterritorial laws, or claim extraterritorial jurisdiction. For it to do so is blatant #imperialism, & is totally unacceptable.
