A city-building colony-sim where a bunch of Beavers are building a society long after us pesky humans died off is not a thing I thought I needed but Timberborn is properly great.
The one time I played it my whole village apart from a couple of baby beavers died in a drought and I just had to watch as the babies who were unable to care for themselves wandered around an empty city till they slowly died... It was heartbreaking...
