the mob looks cool but it has 0 utility, the only useful thing is that we are getting a new wood color.

Oh, and maybe another boss mob "you're not supposed to defeat" but rather "enjoy" the tedium of sneaking around it for hours?

On the whole, Minecraft and Mojang have coasted for sooo long on the work put into and the popularity of 3rd party devtools, mods and plugins, otherwise the handful of underwhelming new things they release once in a blue moon would have diminished the game's popularity a long time ago.
