Frog Protocols announced to try and speed up Wayland protocol development

One day, Wayland will truly take over the Linux world, but it's not quite there yet with plenty still using X11 due to various problems some of which the new Frog Protocols aim to solve.

not really competing, it's designed to be experimental. To allow for early adoption and real world usage to speed up wayland protocol development.

So while people are bickering on wayland protocols KWin & mutter & Gamescope can actually use things as a stop gap.

@lhp it's no different to having Wine and Wine Staging, a proper place to test things, get them into users hands and eventually into the main project
