Imo its bad, They should not waste their energy into making another distro, when there is already stable experience on other distributions with KDE. Like everyone works on a distro, and instead of having a distro, that is stable, well-tested and popular, we got plenty of different distros, not that stable as could be, not tested as could be, not popular enough and therefore dying in a short time. And KDE wants to join this, while they could improve their apps, add more features instqead. I don't think it's good idea, but..well good luck anyway.

I think this is a good idea since KDE and Gnome can make these the standard look, feel, and functionality of their respective desktop environments. So when other distros use KDE or Gnome, they can look to these distros to see how it's done.

I was just thinking that there's not enough distros....

So I am guessing that they are going to stop developing just an interface for the wide Linux community at a point. 👎 👎 👎
