Woman 1: If you had told me while I was growing up that in 2024 you couldn't end a doomed pregnancy that endangers your own life, I wouldn't have believed it.

2. Woman 1: Having your family face lawsuits just for accompanying you to another state... it's like we're living in some weird repressive backwater.

3. Woman 1: And the idea that this is a "culture war" -- nice euphemism!

When people are forced to risk their lives and livelihoods, it's an actual war.

4. Woman 2: Merry Christmas to you, too!

Woman 1: I was going to get you an alternative timeline for America, but they were all out.

Wow! I’m definitely the woman on the left and that’s pretty much the response I’ve been getting. Same with Ukraine. It’s like having a heightened sense of smell. Stuffs burning down, but let’s not speak of it.
