It was fun to tinker with LFS. I learned a lot about Linux with LFS and everything else has been very easy after that. You need some patience to get it in working state though. If I remember correctly updates took "bit" more time than other distros.
These experiences are from era when Pentium 90 MHz was still a fast computer so I might have forgotten some of the painful things to protect my mind. π
Without any Linux knowledge or experience I installed it on one of my laptops. I had some issues, which I easily could resolve with AI. After that I was positive surprised. I believe it is a good alternative for Windows / dependence on US-software
