The Team Fortress: Source 2 project is now officially dead in the water after getting hit with a DMCA from Valve, although the creators were already stopping development.

Honestly, why not make something like in the spirit of Freedoom? But knowing the people that are TOO USED to TF2, they won't even try it because "the characters are different and the weapons are different" Blah blah blah, basically that.
