I am not sure if this about software or hardware. Software I guess from the end, but at first I thought about my old thinkpad which fell a fewtimes (once from the 2nd floor in the stairs) and was fine 😁 like old Nokias !

My IT guy let me be on my 11 y/o Linux PC at work instead of new Windows machines because I could get Zoom working during the pandemic (yeah not FOSS, not gonna win them all) and didn't take 10 minutes to reboot.
Choosing the best internal SSD for your needs can be a daunting task. In case of data loss or drive failure, recovering data from an SSD can be much more challenging than an HDD.
