The year of Helldivers 2, Astro Bot, Metaphor ReFantazio, Persona 3: Reload, Black Myth: Wukong, Stellar Blade, Crow Country, Dragon Age Veilguard, Echoes of Wisdom, Pacific Drive, just the ones I remembered right now: absolute rubbish, of course.
(I don't even like like half of the ones I named, but i'd never call them bad games at all).

I don't know what this paid shill is trying to say. Plenty of independent game devs doing quite well. Also, nobody would cry if absolutely no games were made over a couple years, there are so many good games already out there.
