Finally we're seeing another handheld vendor jump in with Linux. The AYANEO NEXT LITE was announced today and much like the Steam Deck, they plan to ship it with SteamOS!

Oh yeah, I thought I remembered they had announced previously that they were working on their own custom Linux OS for their handhelds. SteamOS seems like the far more obvious choice if it's open source and it works for their hardware. Unless they want to eventually cram their own store in there or something.
