A few days ago I wrote about the Junk Store coming to Steam, a special plugin for Steam Deck to bring GOG and Epic Games compatibility unnoficially - but it seems to be a short lived idea.

aaww I'm waiting to try to install Wuthering Waves in any way on Steam Deck I was hoping for Junk Store to be possible

"A bridge too far" only if the intent is to continue engaging in anticompetitive behavior. Epic and Microsoft allow competing stores to be downloadable from their stores with no issue.
