MONSTER HUNTER RISE adds new DRM that breaks it on Steam Deck

Capcom have rolled out an update to MONSTER HUNTER RISE, and sadly it has broken it on Steam Deck. As they continue attempting to change their DRM in older games.

this happened while I was playing it today. Suddenly canโ€™t connect to anyone, restarted the game and then poof, canโ€™t launch.

I was finally getting a master rank build set up ๐Ÿ™

I am hoping, since the just recently tweeted about World being deck verified, and Rise being so as well, they care enough about Rise to fix it and keep it verified.

Capcom has been doing this with all of their games lately. Theyโ€™re mad that someone accidentally showed a nude Chun Li mod during the Street Fighter 6 EVO stream last year.

extremely sad to see Capcom behaving this way.

Long time Monster Hunter fan, looking increasingly like I may not even consider purchasing Wilds.
