This was with a number of versions of straight proton in Steam, not installing other people's workarounds.

in reply to Liam @ GamingOnLinux 🐧🎮 • • •awesome! This already ran “ok” at least using Fedora or Steam Deck. This updates promises a lot of improvements. No Denuvo, plus that damn “optimizing shaders” screen being fixed were my main concerns.
Let’s see if Digital Foundry updates their review 🙂
