This week's comic is for my home state of Pennsylvania and other swing states that will decide the US election.

This @jensorensen highlights something I saw on MSNBC yesterday, a diner where some rural white men were NOT VOTING FOR TRUMP!
Jen has her finger on the pulse of people in diners!

REMINDER, it takes time & talent to make good cartoons.

I love how Jen turns horrible, bizarre & wacky news into funny, insightful cartoons.

Lancaster was the first smaller city I ever lived in, and truly, it's one of the most charming and sincere places I've ever been, full of kind, generous people. I feel this comic so much.

Ahh, the manure. I'm down the road from Lancaster. The manure isn't so bad really, but I'm still adjusting to the food.

Grew up in Northeastern PA, right at the edge of Appalachia. I have the same disgust for these vile politicians, and it just makes me shake my head when I see poor but hardworking folks get duped by their BS.

I've also seen people that I've considered decent turn into... Well, something else entirely. What they were is lost, and all they have now is anger and hatred.

I grew up in a rural Little Dixie Missouri town of 260 people. Most were conservative. Maybe a few felons thought people deserved a second chance, but I respected them, and their opinions, as Americans. They worked hard, fought and (some) died for this country, and did their best to raise their families.

Growing up in Cumberland County, I never really felt at home. Something always felt off about living someplace the civil war came to โ€“ that left scars on the area and took lives from local families โ€“ yet still had assholes flying Confederate flags.

Saddens, but doesn't surprise, me when I go home to visit my mom and see Trump banners all over the damned place.

@ferricoxide Can't say I saw too many Confederate flags growing up, outside of a Dukes of Hazzard context.
