@travellator2 Expect perfection from anything and you will think it’s a rip off. No hardware is perfect and every piece of hardware I’ve ever used has flaws 🤷♂️🤷♂️
yeah but i can buy a switch etc and shit will work. Steamdeck is just the Linux Desktop revisited, dont expect the Wifi to work, write your own ppp scripts, this and that are not supported but some script kiddie in Finland wrote a hack 12 years ago that might work, yadayada. I dont have the time or patience for it. And I'm saying that as someone who would buy this thing in a heartbeat.
@travellator2 it's just hilarious to see your commenting like this on something you've never used which makes me value what you say about it at about zero
no in all honesty my experiences with it thus far exceeded my expectations by a lot. For a device with a large smartphone battery it's gaming performance was great, and other than the occasional fiddling with resolutions on the tv, and (few) games that don't run at all, it's been awesome.
