If not already, you should definitely check Ihsahn's recent albums. I've known him since his black metal days (Emperor). He appeared in various Leprous albums, and he's also the brother-in-law with Einar of Leprous, so their music taste/sound definitely affected each other.
if I used Spotify Haken and Tesseract would also be on my top of the year for sure (along with Opeth and Polyphia). I like a few Leprous records but don't find myself listening to them too often for some reason.
Just curious, what are your thoughts on Vector by Haken?
