The problem though always is the fact that people won't switch and by that I mean, even if you want to use any of these apps your friends and family members won't switch and some do but not a lot.

I use everyday with my family #signal . I use telegram only for channel and specific group. If you want switch off WA, Signal is the best very private alternative

why are you listing Telegram? That’s a huge privacy nightmare waiting to happen.

Threema is good because you can restore messages without using the cloud but a locally stored file. What we need is one interface which is app agnostic. It is a nightmare to have different contacts in different apps. We need one app to interface with them all. Do not use telegram.

for me Telegram is not privacy focus, having in mind that the only end to end encrypted chats are secret chats.
