It's too bad it couldn't be a thing more on a software-level rather than the kernel itself. Changes in there will take quite some time to make it outward and even if it's accepted quickly most of us won't see it for potentially years. 😞

Most modern games use a decent bit of multithreading, so I'd say this is pretty important.
