I recently watched Strange World, largely because the animation looked interesting. However, I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the optimistic and surprisingly radical #solarpunk and #degrowth themes.

in reply to Danny (he/they) • • •@danwchan It is somewhat more childish, about the standard Disney level. It was a good movie to casually watch for the aesthetics and themes.
I didn't feel like there were too many characters personally. The emotional parts focus primarily on the grandfather, the dad, and the son and their dynamics (and fatherhood generally perhaps).
