Por favor, explain… Is that some kind of mosquito control in the woods? My first thought was.a remote cam, or solar light.

Exactly what it looked like to me. (You can't a fool me with a bug!) So someone else admires the nature there. I hope the loggers don't rip apart this home to whatever lives there (deer? still-healthy rabbits?) I really like those trail-cams, but know from their videos that it's tough work/hobby as they get stolen and need regular care and downloading (if it has an internal recorder). Well, enjoy the trail!

This one is real fancy, as it has a solar-cell for power and a transmitter...

Ah, now that would make sense. For sure, a transmitter, cam, and data handling is pretty elaborate compared to a camera-in-casing strapped to a tree w/an SD card.
