@sigrid I'm thinking about writing a kind of bios for a thing, and I was trying to remember the name of the font(Sun-Gallant-Demi) in openboot which I've always thought was pretty.

Cool. I had a Sunfire V100 (I think that was what it was called). It had the UltraSparc. I ran OpenBSD on it. The LOM console was in #FORTH, as I recall.

Wow, I had forgotten about that font. My first use of UNIX in college, 1995.

I read "tod" as German for death, like this old machine is trying to die but keeps running because it can't load its death.

I wonder if my Sun Netra X1 still powers on... 🤔

love OpenFirmware. learned just enough about it to run NetBSD on old ppc macs
