Supreme Court rules states can’t remove Trump from presidential election ballot

Miscarriage of Justice

This is a good ruling, for a change. The entire "States Rights" notion was wrong-headed.

The real danger here was if the court upheld this then all the red states would take Biden off the ballot and the election would become total chaos.

They are piecemealing rights. Those that the Conservatives like vs the ones they don't and the ones they want to reserve for themselves.

When we get Conservative forced Slavery laws back again (yeah some of them WANT THAT) and forced Blockage of Abortion, Contraception, Freedom of Movement, Conscription, Right to Boycott, etc. as they want be sure to tell me its such a great idea to leave enforcement in their hands.

We are on the brink of a very dark future right now with the conservatives of the court letting them get away with it.

in reply to Joseph Teller

No @Adam Hunt they couldn't since Biden did not commit insurrection or aiding and abetting an enemy of the USA. It's a VERY specific clause in the Constitution. They would have no legal case to point at and say "this is why". It is the ONLY such Constitutional Clause except the initial rules of who could be president in the founding document (age, natural born citizen etc).
in reply to Joseph Teller

Sure they could kick Biden off the ballot for "insurrection" and cite the border issue or some other bogus made up shit. Then their decision would have to be appealed to the Supreme Court who would have already decided that states can kick people off.
in reply to Joseph Teller

Except kicking Biden off the Ballet would never happen, the appeals to their State's Supreme Courts would snap your neck they would happen so quickly and in mass numbers.
in reply to Joseph Teller

They could tie it up right through the election though.
