In the search for life beyond Earth, astronomers look for planets in a star's "habitable zone" — sometimes nicknamed the "Goldilocks zone" — where temperatures are just right for liquid water to exist on a planet's surface.
what do we mean by habitable zone? surely any planetary body with a hot core or abundant radioactive elements that can produce enough heat to maintain a subsurface ocean , currents and mineral cycle can support life? Europa? Enceladus? Pluto?
