A thin layer of Saharan dust in the atmosphere helped expose gravity waves along the coast of Libya.

(Reader's Note: Gravity waves aren't the same as gravitational waves, this isn't an argument against spending lots of money on LIGO and pulsar timing arrays 😉 )
