A butterfly in the stars 🦋

This #HubbleClassic image of the Butterfly Nebula shows layers of gas being ejected from a star that has exhausted its nuclear fuel.

so if you’re the Enterprise, you’d have to be concerned about the area not being a vacuum and offering resistance to movement ? From documentaries I have seen, nebulas only affect sensors, not the ability to move and go very fast.
