What are your favorite #fonts for #chemists? The announcement from the U.S. State Department (which is switching from Times New Roman to Calibri) got me thinking about accessibility. I avoid sans serif fonts in printed documents because it's hard to tell apart lower case "L" and upper case "i". (I had to write them backwards here to make it clear!) When I see Cl2, I know it's chlorine, but chemistry learners might read it as chlorine diiodide. 🧵 https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/19/us/politics/state-department-times-new-roman-calibri.html?smid=tw-share
