I’m interested and will be keeping an eye on this. WhatsApp is shitty spyware and has no business near anyone’s data, so alternatives like this are welcome. In my case, probably to interact with chat groups and as a backup to my one true love, #signal

As an aside, after enduring a decade of marketing douchebags selling products as “extreme” and every piece of goddamn hardware imaginable now labeling itself as “pro,” are we also going to have to endure “X” being used over and over again?
