Flatseal was a nice surprise. It demonstrates how you can manage application security and constraints in a UI rather intuitively yet fine-grained, as long as the underlying model supports it. Contrast that with managing constraints in Apparmor. Anyways Linux on the desktop is sweeeet. Kudos to Flatpak'ers and Flatseal!

some of the more modern (usually rust-based) tools described on terminaltrove.com/categories/. He interfaces are more intuitive and they are also a *lot* faster.
