Those red ones are expensive over here. We had one we brought here and our neighbour wanted to buy one too.

We got a little red Japanese maple about 15 years ago that was supposed to stay relatively small like this one. It is now a little over two stories high and is growing very vigorously. I think an underground stream passes under it.
