#P2Solo @nanopore second trial of rapid PCR cDNA sequencing, running 18 samples on a PromethION P2 Solo flow cell.

[Our first trial was on a MinION flow cell]

I'm hoping to get over 25M reads from this run, which should be easily achievable given that it should get to 2M reads within the first hour, and it'll be running for 72 hours.

My current estimate is for about 70M reads by the end of the run.

@foaylward not planning to reload at the moment. We've got one barcode that's producing about 100x the reads of the lowest-yield sample, so need to rerun without that sample anyway. If things look like they're tailing off, we might think about reloading for the next run.

@foaylward long reads gel up the pores pretty quickly, which *is* a problem that we're having with this run, but it's not worth our time / money to re-use this flow cell for the same samples.

I'll probably wash it out and re-use it for lower-volume samples that I would have previously used a Flongle flow cell for.
