I gathered with a friend to mourn and organize in response to the current violence in Israel and Palestine. We used the Beautiful Trouble deck our anti-zionist Jewish priestess friend Rae Abileah co-designed to brainstorm ideas.

The first set of cards we pulled were meant to be. An artistic vigil rooted in intersectionality, aimed at activating international mechanisms.

My friend is an art teacher and the repeated call by the UNCRC and many others for a #CeasefireNow guides our work. 1/

Notes in response to the Beautiful Trouble cards we drew. Our goal is to pressure Colorado senators and representatives to sign into a ceasefire. More generally, to shift the narrative and educate others. Below is a drawing of the outlines of children.
