The cost of reversing the effects of climate change -- restoring melted polar sea ice, for example -- quickly climbs nearly fourfold soon after a tipping point is crossed, according to new work.

@Palm Oil Detectives If tipping points are crossed, there is no way of reversing climate change! I further think, to remove CO2 from atmosphere, we wood need more energy than burning the fossil fuels yielded. This CO2 amounts will linger for thousands of years in the atmosphere.

@vegos_f06 Yes! I agree This whole idea of carbon capture sounds like a BS idea because its like putting a bandaid on gushing artery...it is just #greenwashing on behalf of the #fossilfuel industries with false, half-a**ed solutions to appease people but that do nothing in reality
