Plan you day in advance and try to stick to it.

I found it the easiest is to use my calendar. Every evening I go through my Todos for the following day and block out calendar slots.

I also decline meeting that I can't add much value to them.

Check you emails at fixed times of the day.

I strictly check my emails twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I usually get over 100 emails daily but I can manage them in 2 x 15m focus time every day.

Practice zero inbox and make sure you clear up all the emails in each sitting.

Use ambient music to reduce the noise.

I use Endle AI generated ambient soundscapes that adapt in real time based on time of the day, weather and you heart rate. Paired with a good pair of ANC earbuds/headphones.

Block out focus time on your calendar, with breaks in between.

I block out 90 minutes slots almost everyday. It's mark in my calendar and meeting will be auto-declined if overlap.

Take 5 minutes breaks every 45 minutes and do nothing in that time.

I usually walk or just sit back and stair out the window or close my eyes. I try to avoid any distraction specially checking my phone.

Speaking of phone, turn off all notifications (except your girlfriend/wife) throughout the day.

Meditate at least 20 minutes each day. (I mediate twice a day each 20 minutes. I use Muse headband which makes mediation much easier and accessible)

Let me know if there is anything missing in this list that I should start doing.
