I'm giving an online talk this evening at 7pm IST. Gríosach: Fire, Tradition and Art in the Irish Uplands. Please come if available!

I'll cover the heritage of growing and tending the plant 'aiteann' (gorse) and how technology, colonialism and culture changed a valued crop into a 'weed'. I'll also be showing drawings and screening two films that I made as an artistic response.
