Thursday 14th August-Friday 15th August:

I will present a living #art installation as part of my work with Síolta Glasa in Limerick, Ireland. The work is about the entangled climate impact of clothing, technology and industry.

I will set up a stall in Arthur's Quay Shopping Centre, where I will invite passers by to contribute words or drawings to a 'string figure' artwork based on Limerick Lace, a historical industry in the city.

I'm back in #limerick city tomorrow to do the second leg of my string figures socially engaged artwork. The piece is about the entanglements of technology, material and labour in clothes.

I'll be in Arthur's Quay Shopping Centre all day Thursday 28th and Friday 29th making and documenting string figures. Anyone is welcome to pop by and add some thoughts.

Last event of the Síolta Glasa project as part of Culture Night in #Limerick Ireland tonight. I will present a string, timber and net art installation as a conversation starter about how we think about clothing from the perspectives of climate, technology, colonialism and history.

I'll also be performing some string figures live in the space!

(that's art made with netting, not 'net art' as in internet art)

@richard okiedoke. I'm not sure whether anything is original art, but that's a nice aesthetic. I haven't watched it.
