in reply to Brodie Robertson • • •Honestly I kind of expected this. Maybe not issues to this extent, but I knew it would never be 1-1 compatible.
The snap system can be very inflexible when it comes to certain things like permissions or the way it operates. I remember having an issue with nextcloud server, I think it was trying to make it access something from the system. I found out that the sandbox around snaps can be pretty tight for system level resources. Steam probably has similar issues.
