It's sad to see, considering how well the protest started... I'm curious to see how many of the subreddits that do come back will be continuing like nothing happened and how how many will have less or no mods due to a lack of useful tooling with the discontinuing of 3rd party apps.
The damage is done. I can understand that some can't just easily migrate or can't find another platform for niche topics immediately. And some subs probably go back because they announced a 48h break - and mods want to discuss further actions with the communities first. But I'm sure many others won't let this slip.
