I can definitely see corporate pressure finally pushing in video to actually fix the their drivers on Wayland. AI researchers, the customers nvidia really likes, use Linux for their work. Whether that be on their own computers or a company server.

It's not just Wayland. My hybrid graphics laptop lasts 3 hours or less with the Nvidia GPU on, whereas if the GPU is off, I can get 7-9 hours of battle life. Plus all the other minor issues that go away with the nvidia card off

well it was a pain with Nvidia graphics card. So I made sure the new ThinkPad i bought doesn't have nividia !

I think for desktop users, using NVK (when it's ready) might be a better bet for proper Wayland support.
