Having never heard of this series before, would you recommend it? And, if you do, where does one start?
A quick Steam search shows 18 games, so yeah, I'm already overwhelmed 😀

@Cybolic There's a lot of games but like Final Fantasy outside of games in the same saga there is no connection between them. Most people seem to recommend starting with either Atelier Sophie, or Atelier Ryza

You probably know this already but this is for other people coming across this post, Don't forget to use atelier-sync-fix on the first 2 games (and the third if it uses the same engine), it's a linux exclusive fix that MASSIVELY improves framerate. github.com/doitsujin/atelier-s…

On Steam Deck atelier sync fix takes it from 20-something FPS to 50-60.Apparently the low GPU utilization problem exists on windows as well, but this fix does not work on windows at least according to the developer of said fix.

I haven't tried it myself on windows yet to verify this, too busy playing other games on Linux.
