I used kde 5 with a kwin script (bismuth) for the last two years because I was bored by managing a trillion dotfiles I needed to have a complete DE with my previous i3 setup that I maintained for a decade. It was okayish
KDE 6 made me switch to hyprland. Having to deal with every bit of software to have a good DE is still a mega chore and I'm too old for this shit but at least I could get back to work (and I'll admit hyprland is awesome ❤️)
Jesus, I am thankful for the clean and easily predictable behavior of automatic tilers seeing this (and having to deal with whatever Microfost is doing in Dingdongs 11)...
