For absolutely no reason at all, today we looked back at our most popular tweet ever.

This is it. Are you all as moved by incredibly niche #LEGO sets?

Still tempted to put this into stud.io and see if I can build it 😀

And I bet that version STILL didn't include the damn card crossover cable!!!!!!

I'm moved by the Raspberry Pi Build HAT - the closest thing I've found that could compare to the awesome LEGO 9701 robot kit and LEGO Dacta 70909 PC Interface from the '90s:

I've been daydreaming about making a lil Raspberry Pi Lego computer for a while now, maybe this could be its first upgrade 🤔

- I had a quick search through my Birdsite archive and found this...... (bought a few more since!)

The creator of that idea, @Bhaal_Spawn, just landed on fedi!

(Source page for anyone who likes the idea - the voting window is closed, but it's worth a DIY build - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/480e824e-d651-4192-996a-937eb7b4fe98)

Can you imagine how cool this would be if it worked? Still very neato though

Superb. I had a Voodoo 5500 PCI in the 90s (in an eMachines PC). Superb card. Cost an arm and a leg and sold for nearly the same price in the late 2000s.
in reply to Raspberry Pi :raspberrypi:

that thing is so tiny. It must be a voodoo 1 because a voodoo 5 wouldn't even fit in that box.
in reply to Raspberry Pi :raspberrypi:

I'll have to settle for "chips" with no markings, but I probably have the LEGO on hand to make one of these!

What?!? No Voodoo II! so I can't SLI on a 11023 (large green baseplate)
