Looks like in this profile the video hosted by a mastodon profile doesn't embed anymore as it did in 2024.12.
Resizing by URL using the -5.wbep option at least with this kind of small image doesn't work.
The expected display | image code as posted and additional commentsLooks like the resizing of the image is done by the first value and the second is relative to the first. If so the sizing instruction could be 128x0? (the first value is always width: reminder 1920x1080) 🤔 [img]https://keybored.me/photo/preview/1024/1407794[/img] ALTaltText: The standard altText option is not available as the URL information of the image is used for the sizing parameters. The second image in this answer is the same image but downsized to the width of 128 pixel so it looks good, or let's say intended in the post from a desktop.
After the spoiler a resized image is posted, inside the spoiler the code was posted to be able to read the real code used for the small image. The image is not visualized. The content of the code box in the spoiler has been modified by the software. The image was visible in the preview.
The following image is how the smaller image, the size of the example image, the avatar as it is intended to be seen on desktop should be displayed above in a second image that is not there.

Dragging a video file into the drag and drop field of a comment does work. The only way to use the bbCode for attachments is as shown:
bbCode bug? While creating this comment, a strange behavior that looks like at least a kind of #bbCodeBug showed up in the preview. The actual bbCode, enclosed in the bbCode code brackets is not displayed as is. Instead the attachment brackets changes into video brackets. It looks like there is an error in the order of processing the information. Probably the attachment, depending on the extension, is classified\identified and the best bbCode for the file is selected. Than the code bracket command kicks in and results in the display of the code in the text.
ALText options like with the [img][/img] bbCode is as of now [2026.01] not available: [attachment=https://tupambae.com/attach/2]This would be the ALTtext version if it were available as it is for images in the bbCode editing style.[/attachment]
Video ALTtext and description of the observed behavior The following explication of the content of the video is kind offTopic in this comment about attachments and how to implement them: A small screen movie that shows how ALTtext is displayed and how unfortunate it is as of now that selecting the ALTtext button the image shows up in the very same browser tab. Looks like opening a new browser tab for that purpose would be more reasonable. Also, there is no ALTtext available in the simple image view. Doesn't feel sound. #bbCode #ALTtext
500 errorWhile editing the publication aspects of an image, sending the update, the page reload\forward went black with the option retry. Several intents selecting the retry button to update the image ALTtext failed. Changing to a loaded page and opening one of the posts in a new window worked. Checking the very image and it's respective ALTtext's in the imgae gallery worked and the new ALTtext had been updated. Once verified all this, selecting the retry button in the error page it worked and the upadeted image page showed up. Images
