Taking the next approach to implement Linux as my (second) desktop besides my Mac Book Pro, amusingly being served on a 2013 Mac Pro. 😉

Apt 3.0 (be careful when seeing red painted!) New GNOME modal notifications. It will be great when more apps use its possibilities. New ‘Wayland on NVIDIA’ (I.e. Ubuntu) is slow though

The cinnamon desktop has made a difference, but I have used xfce, kde, gnome, lxde each has it's own positive and negative quirks.

Switching to a tiling window manager on my main PC. It took a while to set up, but it's worth the time, I don't wanna go back. (Hint: there are a few good tutorials not only on Youtube) #i3wm

Thank to #Proton in #steam I could change from Win to #Linux completely. All games are running just fine with this solution. All my computers are now running under Linux.

KDE 6.1.
I think I have been pretty upset with KDE and its instability and "quantity over quality" approach since 4.0. (I guess the last time I was happy with KDE was on Suse Linux. Without an "open" in the name)

My biggest improvement was installing #mullvadbrowser . good balance between the speed of Firefox and the privacy of TorBrowser.

KDE Plasma 6 has been great. I've really enjoyed the updating process and seeing it get more and more stable with more and more features.
