@hardpenguin13 Game Maker's Linux support generally sucks, Defold is tiny and barely anyone uses it, I'll stick to suggesting what's clearly better for most devs IMO

@hardpenguin13 It's a toot, so I try not to read too much into it, but seems like a unkind response that is uncalled for

Besides the tone though, what is "clearly better" for devs is not always what is most popular. Suggest what you like, obviously it is your prerogative, but others aren't stupid for pointing out that other options in the category "free and open source" also exist

I would recommend it even though it still got scars because of the two idiots that shot Godot in the foot(Not literally of course)

Unity told us they were evil and that they think we're all stupid rubes. They backed off when they noticed we weren't *all* stupid and had to come back with a more clever way to be evil.

heh unity isn't able to have text to speach without huge headache.

#godot however has it out of the box 3 lines of code...
