I am here to announce that I have decreased #spam on my web contact form from 1 message every 15 minutes (for months straight) to 0 messages in the last week by adding a "I am a spam bot" radio button.

I am not joking.

No I am not using something like ReCaptcha, I literally just added a radio button to the list.

A website contact form. Please select your reason for contacting me below, fill in the form, then hit submit! You know, normal form stuff... Name (or username, I'm a label not a cop!) <input field> Contact info: (Discord, Telegram or email) <input field> Reason for contacting <radio button 1> I am a spam bot that always picks the first option! (all responses with this selected will be discarded) <radio button 2> I know of some content or a group that isn't listed! I want a dedicated page or website for my content or group <radio button 3> Suggestion <radio button 4> Copyright complaint <radio button 5> Other Message <input field>

If you add several hidden input fields rendered invisible with CSS so the user doesn't select them, the spam bots often will select them and fill them out.
