I hope they tackle some stuff server side as well. I could never get it to run properly, stable and for an extended time. Longest I got was 1 year before it broke beyond me being able to fix it (some certificate issues after restoring backup...).

I hope we get an Ansible playbook for it. Matrix has LOTS of potential. It just needs to get easier client ánd server side for broad acceptance.

unfortunately I don’t think it will kill WhatsApp… people don’t like to switch from established platforms. I am still trying to get at least a few of my friends and family to switch over to Signal. No shot!
