it was a way to aggregate blog posts without having to create a separate RSS feed, at the peak of activity a few years back, it was really nice. Just a chill place where people posted irregular updates.

Oh, dang. I've actually been using the journal format for my sketchbook and had plans for other pages with it. Shame that it's winding down and the community disappated.

@andnull you could still add your site to the list, since you're already using the format.

I doubt @m15o is going to kill the kiosk, and I'm not going to stop using the html journal format.

@m15o I'll have to go and do that when I'm back home. Should spread the word by writing a little page about html journals. I'm sure the decadv crowd would be into them.
