@aw there hasn't been changes to the file device for over a year. I think it's just that UF has gotten better to play with it 😀

I think devine made some changes to the file device recently that makes partial file reads easier too, which was a challenge last time I used it

@neauoire @aw i've been using subsecuent partial file reads to render images and it works like charm.

@neauoire @aw what puzzled me a bit is that you have to write the address again constantly. Is like the whole screen device is reseted every tick.

@aw It's because UF and your program are each using the same screen device in turn. It might be worth asking felix to restore the address between ticks

@neauoire @aw it would be more comfy but also waste some cycles every tick while you are not rendering something.
