A worthwhile investment in getting the right thing

the main thing is not to make holes in the hull

I'm holding off making holes of any kind anywhere. Always put off by unundoable action.
Especially that I have not yet come across a way to match the wood to my interior. I would hate to have mismatching patchwork.

I really like it that you're all I want a water level meter right there in that, and a few minutes later...

I have a weird car with a wooden dashboard and both the previous owner and I were all hey let's just put some more gauges in. It's kinda addictive and it's way better to have gauges than not!
